This article explains how to use TalkBack with the app.
Setting your delivery location and delivery time
After signing up on the app for the first time, you’re directed to enter your delivery location first.
If you’re already on the home screen, follow these steps:
- From the home screen, double tap on the top left of the screen.
- Enter your address or select from a list of suggested destinations.
- Set the delivery time (either ASAP or Scheduled Delivery.)
Once you finish entering delivery details, we’ll find nearby merchants for you to order from.
Changing delivery location and delivery time
If you get directed to the home feed automatically instead of the delivery details page, the delivery address will be the last location you’ll enter by default.
But if you want to change it before this, follow these instructions:
- From the home screen, double tap on the top left of the screen.
- Enter your address or select from a list of suggested destinations.
- Set the delivery time (either ASAP or Scheduled Delivery.)
Choose merchants
On the home screen feed, we list a diverse selection of merchants you can order from. Swipe left or right to navigate through the recommendations.
You can also go to Search by activating the Search tab at the bottom of the screen:
- Single tap at the bottom of the screen.
- The Search tab is next to Home tab and can be activated by double tapping.
- Once there, choose to search by recommended cuisine categories or type of merchant/dish/cuisine types.
Place an order
Once you’ve selected a merchant you want to order from, follow these steps:
- From the store’s menu page, add the item(s) to cart by double tapping the “ADD TO CART” option
- Repeat this until you’ve added everything you’d like to order
- Once you finish building your cart, swipe until you hear the “VIEW CART” option. Double tap to go to the check out page
- You’ll then be able to review the order details: delivery address/time, items in the cart, confirm payment methods and add promo codes (if any)
- Once you finish reviewing this, place your order by swiping until you hear the ““PLACE ORDER”” option. Double tap to select it
Canceling your order
After pressing the “Place order” button, the app will transition into a requesting state.
To cancel your order:
- Flick right to highlight the cancel button.
- Once you’ve been matched with a delivery person, a contact button will be added alongside “Cancel”.
Waiting for order
The ETA option in the app lets you know when your order is expected to arrive. You can highlight the ETA element to hear how soon your order will arrive. Once you’ve been matched with a delivery person, you can also highlight the card at the bottom of the screen to hear the delivery person’s name, vehicle model, rating, and license plate number.
Rate your order and delivery person
After completing an order, a rating card appears at the top of the home screen. Double tap the card to rate the delivery person and the merchant, plus tip the delivery person.
Account settings
The Account tab can be accessed by tapping on the bottom right corner of the screen. Options available are:
- Account: Here you can upload your favorite delivery address. This way you don’t have to manually enter an address anytime you want to change it. You can also edit your phone number by selecting the “Edit account” option.
- Your Favorites: Here you can listen to the list of merchants you’ve bookmarked or ordered from before.
- Payment: Lets you to change or add a payment method.
- Help: Provides a variety of support options including the ability to report accessibility issues.
- Promotions: View existing promotions associated with your account here, or add a new promo code.
- Free Food: Use this option to get credits towards future orders by referring friends. Here you’ll find your referral invite code.
- Deliver with us: Allows you to start the application process to be a delivery person.
- Settings: Same details as the Account option listed above.
